The hotel has very small rooms by western standards, but are average for hotels in Japan. The staff spoke some English and were very helpful and courteous. The Japanese breakfast each morning was quite good.

The location near the busy shopping street is indeed convenient, with many eateries and Matsue Castle within walking distance. the street noise can be unbearable and disturb light sleepers. the breakfast buffet offers a decent selection, but the seating area is cramped. On the bright side, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the all, you, can.
The parking situation is inconvenient, with the hotel's lot being consistently full and guests having to park at a paid lot five minutes away.

Its location was good and the price was reasonable.
The quality was poor: the bed covers were synthetic, and so was the "yucata" (traditionally it is made from cotton, which is far more comfortable. And the breakfast was disgusting (we love Japanese breakfast, but when the quality is good. This one was cheap quality)

Everything , room and facility, was clean. The staffs were really kind. Breakfast was good and delicious. Coin Laundary was also good.
Menu for breakfast was too limited. Just couple of menu was changed, so it was almost same menu for breakfast. Uncomfortable to use English with staff. I dont understand why i should get a ticket for breakfast each day. It could be provided at once.

I had a great stay in this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel very welcome. My Japanese is not very good, but they spoke excellent English, and I had no communication issues. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained, including the parking area, which was free for guests. Moreover, the hotel is located just off the Kyomise Street area, which offered great shopping and dining options. Besides, the breakfast was delicious- there were so many options to choose from!
Nothing to mention.

Value for money
The arrival time 3pm was handled very strictly, there was no check at all at 2pm if a room would be available already.

For my Christmas trip to Matsue, I stayed in a hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet that offered both traditional Japanese breakfast and more familiar continental choices. The hotel was located very close to Matsue Castle and surrounded by many great restaurants and izakaya. Also, the hotel staff were accommodating and spoke excellent English, which made my stay much more comfortable.
The hotel's parking lot was full and I had to park my car in a paid parking lot about 5 minutes away. While the staff provided me with a ticket that allowed me to park for free overnight, it was a bit of a hassle when it was raining heavily.

The breakfast was decent and there were a good variety of options. the location was great for exploring the city, as it was close to many tourist attractions and restaurants. the staff were friendly and eager to help out.
The room was tiny and cramped, with hardly enough space to move around. the bedding was uncomfortable and felt like cheap quality.
